Air Management

Air Management

Air management, in the context of air suspension systems, refers to the control and management of air pressure within the air springs or air bags. Air suspension systems rely on precise control of air pressure to adjust the ride height, load-carrying capacity, and overall ride quality of a vehicle.

Air management systems typically consist of an air compressor, air reservoir tanks, valves, and a control unit. The air compressor pressurizes the air, which is then stored in the reservoir tanks.

Valves control the distribution of air to each air spring or air bag, and the control unit allows the driver or operator to adjust the air pressure as needed. Proper air management ensures that the vehicle maintains a consistent and desired ride height, even with varying loads or changing road conditions, contributing to a smoother and safer ride.
