Pinion Shims

Pinion shims, also known as axle pinion shims, are precision components used to adjust the pinion angle of the vehicle’s rear axle. These shims are commonly used when modifying a vehicle’s suspension, particularly when altering the ride height or adding components that affect the driveline angle. Pinion shims are placed between the axle housing and the leaf spring or axle perch to achieve the desired pinion angle.

When considering pinion shims for your suspension upgrade, it’s essential to select shims that are compatible with your vehicle’s rear axle and suspension setup. Upgraded pinion shims are essential for ensuring proper driveline alignment, reducing vibrations, and preventing drivetrain issues associated with incorrect pinion angles.
