Coil Struts

Coil struts are a critical component in the suspension system of a vehicle. These components are responsible for providing support and stability to the vehicle’s chassis while also helping to absorb shocks and vibrations from the road.

Unlike traditional shock absorbers or coil springs, coil struts combine both functions into a single unit, making them an integral part of modern automotive suspension systems. A coil strut consists of a coil spring that encircles a shock absorber, providing a compact and space-efficient solution.

When the vehicle encounters bumps or irregularities on the road, the coil strut compresses and extends to absorb the impact, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable ride. They are commonly found in both front and rear suspensions, contributing to the vehicle’s overall handling and ride quality.
